She's Expecting Twins Card

Here is another card I made this week. You can view the instructions here. Sorry I didn't feel like writing it up again, but it is a very simple card to make!

Christmas Cards

Please forgive the pictures. My camera doesn't take close ups very well...For these cards, I actually used an embosser. Not a heat embosser, but the kind you use kind of like a pencil with a stencil.

You can get one of these at your local craft store for around $5. You can get brass embossing stencils for fairly cheap, as well.

It's hard to tell in the picture, but I used pop dots to make the hat and scarf stand out.
To get the "antiqued" look on the holly leaves, I took a piece of sandpaper to it over the embossed part.
The snowflakes are the embossed part on this one. I added a bit of glitter to make them stand out better. I also used ink to chalk around the edges of the papers.

Skeleton Card

Holidays always give me an excuse to make a card! This card was very simple. I just pulled some scrap paper that I had from scrapbooking. I got the skeleton from michaels for less than a dollar and it came with a frankenstine as well. I will use it on another card. The ribbon I got for less than a dollar and it has 4 feet on the roll. I love themed ribbon! I just used a white gel pen to stitch around the themed paper and used black card stock for the card. Card took about 15 minutes to make.

Christmas Cards

When I make cards, I always love to use some ribbon. I think it adds a lot to the look.

Easter Cards

I made these back in the spring. I had so much fun. I am just adding some cards I have already made. I do need to go in my closet and pull out all of my supplies and start making cards and scrap some pages again. I haven't done anything since I had my baby. I think its getting to that time!

Baby Girl Annoucement

Here is another card I made for my little girls arrival. I was using the same paper on most of these cards. I just did some of the layouts differently. The letters were cut using my cricut. I have a sticker machine that I place the letters through. When they go through the sticker machine it will put tape on the back of the letters. It works perfect because its nearly impossible to tape letters that skinny. I used the cricut to cut a small circle and flower as well. On the small circle I used a stamp to put the word baby. I wasn't in the mood to do anything super complicated, so these layouts are all very easy.

Birthday Card

Happy Birthday! We can all use some brithday cards because birthday's always seem to be right around the corner. I always use card stock when making the card. If I want to change the front of the card I will just find a paper with designs on it and tape it to the front. This was another simple card I made. Nothing complicated at all. I used my cricut to cut out the flower and letters.

New Arrival Card

I love scrapbooking, but there is something about making cards that I just enjoy so much more. It's probably the fact that I don't have to debate on where I am going to put my pictures, or the fact that I don't have to cut my pictures. It can take me awhile to decide all this, but with a card, my mind will start going and I can usually get one made in 30 mins. I made these 2 cards when I was 9 months pregnant. What else is there to do when you are sitting around waiting on your baby to arrive?

They were very simple. I have a cricut so it makes the cutting very easy... meaning I usually don't have to even cut anything.
